JDI Announces Major Warehouse Expansion
Joe Dease, President of JohnDow Industries announced the company's most recently completed warehouse expansion project at its Barberton, Ohio Headquarters.
A 68,000 sq. ft. warehouse addition was completed at a cost of $1.5 million in late March of 2008. This expansion grows the JDI warehouse capabilities to a total of 121,000 sq. ft. of space.
Mr. Dease stated that double digit sales increases during the last few years created a need to expand our capabilities to better serve our customers and allow for future growth. He detailed that much of the recent sales growth occurred in the Fuel Chief and EuroVent® lines.
Mark Pfleeger, Vice President of Sales commented that required expansion like this is fairly unusual in our industry given the current tough environment. Most companies are experiencing a reduction or leveling off of sales; JDI, we are growing, excited, and very optimistic about our future.
In 2008, JDI insituted an aggressive Brands To Build On marketing campaign to educate the industry concerning its product offerings and how all five of its newly defined lines complement each other to make JDI a leader in the industry.
