JDI Announces Major Warehouse Expansion

Barberton, Ohio - Joe Dease, JDI President, announced the company's most recently completed warehouse expansion project at its Barberton, Ohio Headquarters.

A 68,000 sq. ft. warehouse addition was completed to a cost of $1.5 million in late March of 2008. This expansion grows the JDI warehouse capabilities to a total of 121,000 sq. ft. of space.

Mr. Dease stated that double digit sales increased during the last few years created a need to expand our capabilities to better serve our customers and loow for future growth. He detailed that much of the recent sales growth occurred in the Fuel Chief and EuroVent lines.

Mark Pfleeger, Vice President-Sales, commented that companies are experiencing a reduction or leveling off of sales; JDI insituted an aggressive Brand To Build On marketing campaign to educate the industry concerning its product offerings and how all five of its newly defined product lines complement each other to make JDI a leader in the industry. The company has been a successful part of the automotive aftermarket industry for nearly 30 years.
